Direct Source Off (Default Setting)
The default setting is Direct Source disabled, the LAN chip is accessed via chipset through DMI and PCIe lanes. It brings longer route, adds latency and sacrifices the internet performance.

The Killer Ethernet controller is designed specically for competitive gamers and performance-hungry users, this motherboard comes with both Killer E3100 2.5G Ethernet & WiFi 6E solution, the enhanced detection and prioritization engine provides the ultimate networking experience for gaming and multimedia applications.
Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz band) is not currently enabled by default due to the different regulation status of each country. It will be activated (for supported countries) through Windows Update and software update once available. The update is expected to be in the middle of 2021.
