The PowerScan PBT9500-RT imager is a cordless scanner featuring Bluetooth wireless technology. The rugged mechanics of the PowerScan Retail series guarantees reliable long-term operation in retail activities. Repeated shocks at the POS checkout or outdoor usage do not inhibit the scanners performance or reliability, protecting the retailers investment. The IP65 rating further guarantees protection from damages caused by exposure to moisture. This Bluetooth wireless technology model has a radio range (open air) that exceeds 90 m / 295 ft.

The PowerScan Retail 9500 series is the first handheld series of scanners on the market capable of reading digital watermarks including Digimarc Barcodes.
